This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

The Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) including all Fitness Report and Counseling forms (NAVPERS Form 1610/2), the most recent Cumulative Record Of Training (NAVPERS Form 5300/16), the Background Summary (NAVPERS Form 1640/32), Officer Personnel Action Requests (NAVPERS Form 1301/85) and Form DD-214, for Morton County Sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier.

Kirchmeier was vaulted to national fame as the lead law enforcement official dealing with the Standing Rock protests from August 2016 till its conclusion in late February 2017. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/11/27/sheriff-on-pipeline-protests-my-job-is-to-enforce-law.html

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
