Mr. Sparks,

Thank you for your request. USCENTCOM received your FOIA request, dated 30 September 2015. We are processing your request; however, additional information is required to perfect your FOIA request. The Department of Defense Freedom of Information Act Program, 5400.7-R, require requesters to state a fee amount they are willing to pay in the event processing fees are incurred. We’ve placed you in the "Media" category for fee purposes. This means you will be obligated to pay duplication cost ($.15 per page) after the first 100 pages.

Example statement:

I am willing to pay all reasonable costs incurred for this request up to $00. Please contact me if costs will exceed this amount.

Once we receive your reply we will forward you a formal letter acknowledging receipt for your FOIA request.

Mr. Sparks,

While processing your FOIA request it was determined that the information being sought falls under U.S. Army Central (USARCENT) for processing. Additionally, while coordinating the referral of your request to USARCENT for processing it was discovered that USARCENT is already in receipt of the FOIA request directly from you, and is processing for response. In this case, we are inquiring if you would like to withdraw your FOIA request from U.S. Central Command and await USARCENT's response?

Respectfully,
