The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

We regret the delay in responding to your FOIA/PA request. DEA is among the top six of all Department ofJustice components that receive the largest number of FOIA/PA requests peryear. DEA received 1,603 requests inFiscal Year 2022 and we have limited personnel resources to process suchrequests (see Department of Justice Annual FOIA Reports available at https://www.justice.gov/oip/reports-1 ). We are experiencing a backlog ofapproximately 1,800 requests, which has impacted our ability to process yourrequest in a timelier manner.
Given the passage of time and the changing needs ofrequesters, this communication is to confirm whether you are still interestedin the documents you requested.
