ICE’s statistics on deportation through the 287(g) in FY2011 & FY2013

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

I request ICE’s deportation statistics for the 287(g) program in FY2011 and FY2013. According to ICE’s FOIA library (http://www.ice.gov/doclib/foia/reports/287g-masterstats2010oct31.pdf), statistics are available for 287(g)-related deportations by activation localities through FY2010, but there has been no update since then. Therefore, in compliance with this existing format, I request follow-up deportation statistics via the 287(g) program.

(1) Deportation (removal) performance through 287(g) in FY2011
- 287(g)-identified Aliens for Removal by locality
- 287(g)-identified Aliens Departed/VR (Voluntary Return) by locality
(2) Deportation (removal) performance through 287(g) in FY2013
- 287(g)-identified Aliens for Removal by locality
- 287(g)-identified Aliens Departed/VR (Voluntary Return) by locality

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
