To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

The training materials DHS employees receive for how to prepare the I-213 form. We requested these materials from the CBP. In the adjudication letter I'm attaching to this request, the CBP said it had located 56 pages of training documents but that they belonged to the DHS and the CBP could not release them. Although the CBP was required by law to forward that request to DHS, rather than dismiss it, we are requesting the DHS to produce those documents.

We are also requesting the DHS produce any other training materials for preparing the Form I-213, aside from the 56 pages mentioned in the attached CBP adjudication letter.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Matthew Hoppock
