Greetings USMS FOIA staff,

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I request any USMS file or records pertaining to Henry Hill. Published accounts suggest he was born on June 11, 1943 in Manhattan, NY and died on June 12, 2012 in Los Angeles, CA. I have attached a published obituary from the NY Times, which can be accessed at https://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/14/nyregion/henry-hill-mobster-of-goodfellas-dies-at-69.html .

Hill was and remains a well known figure in popular culture in connection with organized crime. He is perhaps best known in popular culture as the subject of the 1990 film Goodfellas.

This request is not being made for commercial purposes. The requested records will be immediately and freely available to the public on muckrock.com. I am willing to pay applicable fees, but I request an estimate prior to proceeding if fees will exceed $25.

I would prefer the request be filled electronically by e-mail attachment if available, or CD-ROM if not.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,

Joseph Durso
