From: Jimmy Tobias

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all written or electronic communications, including email attachments and text messages, sent or received by Wildlife Services Idaho state director Todd Grimm that contain one or more of the following words or phrases: "Mansfield", "Canyon Mansfield", "Mansfields" or "Mansfield family". This request seeks all communications by Grimm that refer to the case of Canyon Mansfield, a teenager who was poisoned by an M-44 cyanide device in 2017. For your reference, you can read more about Canyon Mansfield's case here: https://www.idahostatejournal.com/members/us-government-blames-local-boy-and-his-family-for-cyanide/article_3e7d7e8f-3ecf-585b-8ed1-edf8d1dfe1b7.html

I am a reporter for Pacific Standard and The Guardian newspaper, and request a fee waiver as any documents released to me will be used to inform the public.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Tobias
