From: Rebecca Williams

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

The titles of the channels used in your agency's Slack instances as of 10/29/2021.

To give you an idea of the records I am looking for, this information has been requested and provided from GSA in the past here: https://18f.gsa.gov/foia-reading-room/, https://18f.gsa.gov/foia-reading-room/gsa-tts-slack-channel-list-3-29-2017.txt

I am a researcher looking to understand how Slack is used by the Federal Government. I would appreciate these results as soon as possible. I anticipate that this will be an easy lift and am happy to discuss in more detail what I am looking for if helpful at rebecca@rebeccawilliams.us

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Williams

Hello FOIA Requester Service,

Other agencies have taken as little as two weeks to get me this exact record. It should be easily exportable from the tool. Why would this take almost 2 years and 8 months for the State Department to process?

Rebecca

From: U.S. Department of State
