This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
I would like copies of all complaints from 2015 to the Federal Trade Commission regarding the following companies:
Uber Technologies
Lyft
Airbnb
Google
Facebook
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. They will be used in the course of reporting stories for Motherboard, VICE Media's science and technology news website.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request, and I ask that it be processed in the "media" fee category. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon Mr. Koebler,
I am writing to you in response to your recent FOIA request dated September 15, 2015 seeking access to copies of all complaints from 2015 to the FTC regarding the following companies: Uber Technologies, Lyft, Airbnb, Google and Facebook. We have located over 24,000 consumer complaints against Google during the requested timeframe. Specifically, I am writing to determine whether there is a way we can reasonably narrow the scope of this request as it pertains to Google. For example, can we narrow the scope to regional complaints (Northeast)? Also, some requesters have narrowed the search by asking for complaints regarding the Google Play App. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
