Your request has been forwarded to the appropriate office(s) within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) for processing. You requested files in the DTRA regarding your files. The FOIA provides that information requested may be assessed fees which recover the full direct cost of searching for, reviewing for release, and duplicating the records sought dependent upon the requester’s fee category.

Your request has been placed in the “news media” fee category. In the “news media” fee category, there is no charge for search and review and for the first 100 pages of reproduction. After the first 100 pages, a fee of $0.15 per page is charged you will be advised if estimated assessable fees exceed $25.00.

A decision to waive fees will be made at a future date. A waive or reduction of fees shall be provided when the requested documents are in the public interest and contribute to the public understanding of the operations or activities of the Agency
