To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All records, specifically including previously unreleased records, relating to or mentioning investigations that involved a search of Fellowship of Friends property in Oregon House, California on April 3, 2007—including investigative material leading up to, during, and after the site visit of the Fellowship of Friends property.

A report of the property visit was obtained through a FOIA and published on this blog: https://robertearlburton.blogspot.com/2007/06/citizenship-and-immigration-services.html

That report says that on January 3, 2005, the ASAIC, Sacramento received a lead from the ICE Law Enforcement Support Center (LESC) tip-line relating to a group called the Fellowship of Friends in Oregon House, California. The report also says that Citizenship and Immigration Services Fraud Detection and National Security officers conducted a site visit and compliance review at the Fellowship of Friends compound in Oregon House, California. According to the report, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security were also involved in the site visit.

I am a member of the news media and request classification as such. I have previously written for Esquire magazine, Popular Mechanics magazine, and Gizmodo. My articles have been widely read, with some reaching over 1 million readers. As such, I have a reasonable expectation of publication and my editorial and writing skills are well established.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jennings Brown
