This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all emails or other correspondence, or regular reports, between the director or Unit Chief at the Federal Bureau of Investigation Data Intercept Technology Unit (DITU), and FBI Director James Comey, which contain the word "Apple," "iMessage," or "encryption" in the subject field and were sent between Aug 1, 2014 and the date this request is processed.
A copy of all emails or other correspondence, or regular reports, between the director or Unit Chief at the Federal Bureau of Investigation Data Intercept Technology Unit (DITU), and FBI General Counsel James A. Baker, which contain the word "Apple," "iMessage," or "encryption" in the subject field and were sent between Aug 1, 2014 and the date this request is processed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not being made for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

A waiver or proof of death is not required if date of birth is 100 years ago or greater. Note-a web link in itself does not satisfy proof of death.
Without proof of death or the privacy release, the disclosure of third-party information contained in law enforcement records, should they exist, is considered both a clearly unwarranted invasion of privacy pursuant to Exemption (b)(6), U. S. C. § 552, and an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy, pursuant to Exemption (b)(7)(C), 5 U.S.C. § 552.
