This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A copy of all documents or FBI files pertaining to Fats Domino, an obituary of whom was published in The New York Times on October 25, 2017 under the headline "Fats Domino, Early Rock ’n’ Roller With a Boogie-Woogie Piano, Is Dead at 89". Please see attached PDF copy of that obituary, which may also be found at https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/25/obituaries/fats-domino-89-one-of-rock-n-rolls-first-stars-is-dead.html.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information Act request for

Your request for FBI case file 100-HQ-106670, Serial 1335, which the FBI
indicated was related to Fats Domino, was received in this office on April
19, 2018 and assigned FOIA tracking number *RD 56952*.

I have completed a line-by-line review of Serial 1335 from FBI file
100-HQ-106670,
and as reviewed under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, there
are no restrictions on access.

Because the document consists of only two pages, I have attached a
