Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any correspondence to, from, and within the Office of the Chief Immigration Judge, Assistant Chief Immigration Judges, and the Office of the Director of the Executive Office of Immigration Review at the Department of Justice regarding Family Units in removal proceedings, including: emails or other correspondence, memoranda, scheduling orders, or other guidance on FAMU designation, docketing for FAMU designated cases, treatment of FAMU cases in removal proceedings, or other issues related to "family units" or "FAMU" in removal proceedings between September 1, 2018 and April 4, 2019.
This request is being made in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public.
