Mr. Morisy,

The federal government was shut down for a period of 16 days in October. This included the entire FOIA unit staff at DHS-OIG, in addition to many of our colleagues in our program offices who search for and provide records. Our time line to process requests has been significantly delayed. We are working as quickly as possible to catch up, however, we have a large backlog of requests and therefore are unable to provide you with an estimated completion date at this time. Please be aware we are working to the best of our ability to provide all of our requesters with timely responses.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.
