Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Records mentioning, relating to, or generated as a result of investigation or inquiry into Ernest Lee Jahncke (October 13, 1877 - November 16, 1960) Jahncke served as Assistant Secretary of the Navy from 1929 to 1933, however he is best known for his expulsion from the International Olympic Committee in July 1936 for objecting to holding the 1936 Summer Games in Nazi Germany. Proof of death is not required as his date of birth was over 100 years ago.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
