The memos, reports and/or summaries of all investigations related to the Lyme disease, encephalitis virus, and rickettsial outbreaks in Conn., NJ, and NY to/from CDC staff, CDC officials, and EIS officers for the years 1972 thru 1986. Search under the names of EIS officers Allen Steere, David R. Snydman and Walter Stamm (73-75); Alan Barbour (72-74); Martin J. Blaser and David Dennis (79-81); and Lyle R. Petersen (85-86).

I am a journalist/filmmaker who publishes books, articles, and documentaries on tick-borne diseases.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
