Dear Mr. Tobias,

Good afternoon. Thanks for following up on this request. My apologies for the delay. There is one question that I still need to learn the answer to, from the relevant HUD program office, to put your package (back) into clearance - and I just gave my inquiry a new push (and I've now heard back from one of the program office staffers that I need to hear from). I should be able to obtain the answer by the end of the week so that I can put your package (back) into clearance.
Thanks,

Dear Mr. Tobias,

Good afternoon. I've attached a generic letter to account for HUD's having been closed during the most recent partial Federal Government shutdown. HUD's FOIA Branch is still trying to get back to where it was when the shutdown occurred. I am hoping that HUD will be able to send you a response in the not-too-distant future. I can report that I was able to get your package back into clearance after my update below on December 3. I appreciate your continued understanding.
Thanks,

Hi,

Good morning. My apologies for the delay. I've located the clearance package and when Ms. Snowden returns at the start of the week from next, I'll be sure to pass it to her. She did give it an initial review and asked me to track down one loose end, which I now have. So it's possible that it can be cleared quickly.
Thanks,
