From: Clemmens, Jim

Good afternoon Ms. Connaughton,

This communication is in regards to the FOIA request that you submitted to the Department of Education on March 24, 2014. On behalf of the Department, please accept my sincere apology for the delay in the processing of your FOIA request. I have attached a copy of your specific request for your reference.

Given the fact that your request is over three (3) years old now, I wanted to reach out to you and determine if you still are interested in having the Department continue to process this request. Please let me know if you are still interested as soon as possible by responding to this email. A lack of response by July 28, 2017 will be interpreted as that this request is no longer needed, resulting in the administrative closure of the case.

Feel free to contact me directly at (202) 205-3957 if you would like to discuss this matter. Again, on behalf of the Department, please accept my apologies for the delay in finalizing your FOIA request.
Best,

Jim Clemmens
