I hereby appeal the withholding in full of the document responsive to my request under the Freedom of Information Act.
On March 15, 2016, I requested the following document from DODIG:
A copy of report DODIG-2016-046, "Intelligence and Special Program Assessments Report: Classified Evaluation"
TheDODIG FOIA office assigned my request tracking ID FOIA-2016-00424.
Via the attached letter, DODIG responded that it had located responsive documents but was withholding them in their entirety. I hereby appeal this determination, and particularly assert that documents may not be withheld in their entirety if they may be partially redacted. For this and any other reason that the appeals authority deems pertinent to the public disclosure of government information and documents, I appeal and request that this FOIA be remanded back to DODIG for a good faith provision of responsive records.
