Please note that I am requesting the documents in their entirety, including any deleted or redacted information. If any information has been redacted or withheld, please provide a detailed explanation for the redaction or withholding. Please also provide any legal justifications for withholding any responsive documents.

I would like to draw your attention to several case laws that support my FOIA request, including but not limited to: the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552; Department of the Air Force v. Rose, 425 U.S. 352 (1976); Church of Scientology v. Internal Revenue Service, 792 F.2d 146 (D.C. Cir. 1986); and Coastal States Gas Corp. v. Department of Energy, 617 F.2d 854 (D.C. Cir. 1980).

Dear Mr. Cason,

Thank you for your response regarding my Freedom of Information Act request. I apologize if my initial request was unclear and I am happy to provide additional clarification.

I am specifically requesting records related to radar and beacons that may have encountered Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) or anomalous aircraft. These records could include radar data, flight logs, and other documentation regarding incidents of UAP sightings or encounters reported by the United States Navy from January 1, 2016, to the present date.

In particular, I am seeking inter-agency communications, memos, messages, and any other relevant documentation related to the incident(s) in question. This could include any emails, reports, or other communications regarding the tracking, analysis, or investigation of UAP sightings or encounters.

Additionally, I would like to request any relevant terms, keywords or acronyms that may have been used by the Navy to identify these incidents, such as "unidentified aerial phenomena", "UAPs", "unknown tracks", "anomalous aerial vehicles", "unidentified flying objects", "UFOs", or any other similar terminology. I would also like to request any search queries or methodologies used to identify and catalog these types of incidents.

Please note that I am requesting the documents in their entirety, including any deleted or redacted information. If any information has been redacted or withheld, please provide a detailed explanation for the redaction or withholding. Please also provide any legal justifications for withholding any responsive documents.

If there are any fees associated with fulfilling this request, please notify me in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request to be filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I appreciate your assistance in this matter and look forward to receiving the requested documents.

Sincerely,

Jordan Lassiter
