Mr. Moss:

I'm following up on FOIA requests NLRB-2019-000552 and NLRB-2019-000553 which you submitted to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) on March 7, 2019, requesting the following:

* NLRB-2019-000552: "Any and all documents filed as part of National Labor Relations Board Case Number 06-CA-236950, involving Sodexo, Inc."

* NLRB-2019-000553: "All documents filed on March 4, 2019 (there are two listed on the Case Status website) as part of National Labor Relations Board Case Number 06-CB-236206, involving Sodexo, Inc. and Service Employees International Union, Local 32BJ."

I'm assigned to process your request. While doing a preliminary search, I noticed something very odd with the way the website lists documents for these two cases. The CA case (https://www.nlrb.gov/case/06-CA-236950) lists the formal documents contained in the CA case file - which I verified in the Agency's casehandling system, NxGen. The CB case (https://www.nlrb.gov/case/06-CB-236206) is related to the CA case in NxGen, and this relationship is displayed on the bottom of the website pages for both cases. For some reason, the website page for the CB case lists the formal documents contained in the CB case plus the two docketing letters from the CA case which issued on March 4. I verified in NxGen that the only documents that issued or were filed on March 4 were for CA case 06-CA-236950, not CB case 06-CB-236206.

I notified our Information Technology department to figure out why this issue is occurring. It's apparently not limited to just these two cases; I found several other related CA/CB cases that are displaying CA docketing letters in the related CB case list.

Since there are no responsive documents for your request NLRB-2019-000553 (March 4th documents in 06-CB-236206), would you like to withdraw this request?

Request NLRB-2019-000552 will continue to be processed and will include the two March 4th documents.
