From: Brett Carollo

This message pertains to FOIA request #24-F-0546. The action officer is Shannon A. Cooper.

I am appealing the final response to this request, which found no responsive documents. I am requesting documents pertaining to DoD collaboration with the production of "My Christmas Hero" (2023). At least one entertainment media outlet reports that "the production team specifically utilized the premise of the Joint Base Lewis–McChord, which is situated near the city of Lakewood in Pierce County, to shoot scenes set at the Joint Military Base in Lacey, Washington. the production" (TheCinemaholic, Nov. 23, 2023, https://thecinemaholic.com/where-my-christmas-hero-filmed-cast/). If so, there would certainly be documents generated by DoD, as the production would have to secure permission through official channels.

I therefore request a new search to find any such records, which, again, must exist if the production team was allowed to film on a US military base.

Sincerely,

Brett Carollo
