Dear Sir or Madam,
I received your email via John Laster. Thank you for your interest in the
records of the 41st U.S. President. We have received your Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) request regarding correspondence with the British
Royal Family, specifically, Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Elizabeth, Prince
Philip and Prince Charles. We are now reviewing our records to determine
those that are relevant to your request. I can however inform you that you
may view the finding aids on our website from two previous FOIA requests
that have already been processed which will perhaps contain some of the
items you are seeking: Records on the United Kingdom, 2009-1293-F
(https://bush41library.tamu.edu/files/foia/2009-1293-F.pdf) and Records on
Correspondence between GHWB and HRH Prince of Wales, 2014-0695-F
(https://bush41library.tamu.edu/files/foia/2014-0695-F%20[Prince%20Charles%20Correspondence].pdf).
Please note on the finding aid document under "System of Arrangement" that
the records of the White House Office of Records Management are available
at the document level while the Staff and Office records are processed by
the folder. Unfortunately, we cannot review those folders listed on these
finding aids to determine which ones contain letters or handwritten notes.
You may request copies of the content of these folders and we will provide
a page count in order for you to determine if you would like to purchase
them at 80 cents per page. We must receive payment prior to making copies.
Please let me know if we can of further assistance and we will be
contacting you shortly with the status of your FOIA request.
Sincerely,
John Blair

From: Ned Donovan

Dear Mr Blair,

Thanks for your email. I would like any content in those folders that include correspondence between GWHB and HRH Prince of Wales/HM the Queen etc. If it is required that I pay for the whole folder, then please can you let me know the amount?

Best wishes,
Ned Donovan

From: Bush Library

Dear Sir or Madam,
We have completed the review of our records and would like to submit our
official letter, but we need a name at MuckRock, if we could, to address it
to. We will forward this to the request email address that you have
provided.
Sincerely,
John Blair
Archivist

From: Bush Library

Dear Ned Donovan,
Thank you for contacting the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
Please find attached the response to your request for information under
the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). In reference to your question, you
can use the attached information to identify which folders you would like
information from. We cannot conduct research for you so please understand
that when you request a folder you will receive its entire contents.
Unfortunately we are not staffed to locate specific materials nor would we
want to get put in a position that someone would claim we didn't send them
everything or what they wanted. I hope you understand. Please review the
attached and we can go from there.
Sincerely,
John P. Blair
Archivist
