From: Foster, Rochelle - FAS

Dear Mr. Malochee:

The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) sincerely apologizes for the delay. However, we have been making an earnest and diligent effort to process your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

After careful review of your FOIA request, the FAS determined that your request is too broad in scope or did not specifically identify the records which you are seeking. Where possible, a requester should supply specific information regarding dates, titles, names of individuals, names of offices, and name of agencies or organizations that may help identify the records.

The FAS searched the Electronic Correspondence Management Module (ECMM) for responsive records, which contains incoming correspondence from public, private, or political inquiries. In order to ensure the proper response to your request, please provide any names that may have been in receipt of communications with these companies. If your response is not received within 5 business days, then I will provide the records we have already prepared.

Kind Regards,

Rochelle Foster
