Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
In response to a prior FOIA request (2022-IGFO-00129), DHS-OIG represented that a total of 43 investigations closed “with DOJ/local prosecution action in FY21.” see https://cdn.muckrock.com/foia_files/2023/01/26/DHS_OIG_FOIA_2022-IGFO-00129_Outgoing_Responsive_Record.xlsx (Tab 2). DHS-OIG further represented that it closed 196 CBP investigations, 79 ICE investigations, and 34 “DHS-Other”. DHS-OIG also provided full list of case numbers for all closed investigations and closed complaints from FY20 and FY21 in response to the same FOIA request.
Using this list, please provide the reports of investigation and all exhibits referenced therein for the following;
1. Any of the 43 closed fY21 investigations that resulted in DOJ/local prosecution action which involved CBP or ICE;
2. Any of 196 closed CBP investigations, 79 closed ICE investigations, and 34 closed “DHS-Other” designated by OIG as “substantiated.”
