To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am writing to request access to any and all tax records and filings related to the Church of Scientology for the years 2010 through 2020. The Church of Scientology is a religious organization that has been controversial in the past and has been the subject of media scrutiny. I am interested in reviewing the tax records to gain a better understanding of the organization's finances and to help inform public discourse on this issue.

Specifically, I am requesting access to the following documents:

Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, for the years 2010-2020
Form 1023, Application for Recognition of Exemption Under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and any subsequent correspondence related to the Church of Scientology's tax-exempt status
Any correspondence, audit reports, or other documents related to the Church of Scientology's tax-exempt status or tax filings for the years 2010-2020

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jordan
