This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Anonymized Personnel records for the temporary census workers in last U.S. census. If this is too broad, I would specifically ask for DOB, date-of-termination and reason for termination, along with date-of-application and reason for not hiring.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. If you could supply the structural metadata for your personnel database, I could write the SQL for you.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

According to our records, by letter dated August 1, 2013 we provided you with a fee estimate of $12,799.03 for processing your FOIA request, assigned to tracking number DOC-CEN-2013-001317. In that letter, we indicated, "Pursuant to 15 CFR Section 4.11, we could not continue to process your request, until we receive payment for the entire anticipated fee.” In addition, the letter stated that if payment or other communication was not received by our office within 30 calendar days from the date of the fee notification letter, then the FOIA request would be considered "closed."
