To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Any video, audio or digital recording of two internet based "webinars" held by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on September 16-17, 2015; during which the CDC's Opioid Prescribing Guideline was released and discussed. I also seek any transcripts of the two webinars.

The requested recordings and documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Pat Anson

From: Pat Anson

Dear Mr. Andoh,

Thank you for your February 27th response to my FOIA request (Request Number: 18-00193-FOIA) and the documents you provided.

I am confused about your statement that your office has been unable to locate a copy of "any video, audio or digital recording of two internet based ‘webinars’ held by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on September 16-17, 2015; during which the CDC's Opioid Prescribing Guideline was released."

The written transcript you provided of the webinars makes several references to recordings being made, such as "today's conference is being recorded for archiving purposes" and that "this webinar will be recorded to provide a complete and accurate record." In addition, its logical to assume that the transcript itself is based on a recording of some kind.

Either the recordings still exist or they have been destroyed. It's also possible that you were denied access to them or that no one knows where they are located. I respectfully ask again that I be provided with a copy of the recordings or at least be provided with an explanation for what happened to them.

Sincerely,

Mr. Pat Anson
