Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. All Congressional Death Notifications sent to Congress pursuant to the December 17, 2018 CBP Policy titled "Interim Procedures on Notification of a Death in Custody" (available at https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2018-Dec/Interim-Procedures-on-Notification-of-a-Death-in-Custody-December-2018.pdf)

2. All records evidencing the policies superseded by the Dec. 17, 2018 Interim Procedure, including "Any other relevant policy related to deaths occurring in CBP custody" referenced on the first page of the interim policy. This request is limited to policies or procedures that were in effective beginning on or after January 1, 2016 to the date an adequate search is tasked by the agency.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
