Dear Mr. Morisy,
This is responds to your Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA) of May 23, 2013 to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) in which you requested copies of several NCIS investigative files. On August 7, 2013 you were notified by NCIS that some of the information contained within the reports, specifically the investigative audit report for case no. 05 MAY 94 05CS0153, was under the release authority of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) and that they had forwarded this document to us for a release determination and final response to you.

The attached document is provided to you. While SPAWAR made no redactions to the document redactions pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552 (b)(6) and (b)(7)(c) were made by NCIS. Because your request has been denied in part by NCIS they have requested we advise you that you have the right to appeal this determination in writing to:

Your appeal must be postmarked within 60 calendar days from the date of this email to be considered.
