Dear DOJ,

Thank you for your efforts to produce my personal records via the MuckRock forum. I will be withdrawing this request and submitting another similar to the DOJ c/o the FBI's FOIA dept to produce Privacy Act records. These records, of course, may contain sensitive personal information.

Michael Morisy at MuckRock.com offered to help me withdraw the request, as a courtesy service, because they are not equipped to produce FOIA reports in a private way at this time.

MuckRock.com is not currently a forum to help produce FOIA requests with personal or private information. They post most or all information from responsive government requests to their platform publicly (or live online). I was informed of this today.

Again, I requested to withdraw this FOIA with a certain expectation, made plain, that [my] personal records should not be posted, here, live online. My hope is that MuckRock.com will add certain consumer privacy controls soon appropriate for personal FOIA requests in the future. This should save everyone involved the pains associated with liability.

Thank you for your patience with these important and timely matters.

Sincerely,

S.Dean
