This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Any and all correspondence between the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the digital security companies DtecNet Software ApS (“DtecNet”), Irdeto Silicon Valley (“Irdeto”), and BayTSP regarding the enforcement of the DMCA - or related intellectual property laws - and the issuance of "take-down notices", as well as any official contracts or agreements between the United States government and the aforementioned security/data collection firms.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The request refers specifically to communications between the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and three digital security contractors (DtecNet Software ApS (“DtecNet”), Irdeto Silicon Valley (“Irdeto”), and BayTSP). If I narrow the search to include only letters, contracts, and emails between these firms and the Office, that ought eliminate the "overly broad" objection to the request.
