To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following request, copied below. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.

From: Jacob Harris

It is absurd how long this FOIA request is taking. In the interest of simplicity, I am going to simplify things even further:

Was this post authored by or edited by Ian M. Smith while he was working at DHS?

I am unclear why this FOIA request has been languishing for so long without any action. The information should be readily available in electronic systems and the scope is relatively narrow. I would appreciate if you could help me get this resolved. Thank you.

Thank you replying to this FOIA request eventually. I am not sure that this answers my question to be honest, since so much of the document is redacted, I can't tell if this is the blog post or some other content, nor can I tell if it was authored by someone else who is not in this email discussion. At least I have some clarity into where the statistics came from. But I would like to appeal to ask for two bits of information that are not revealed in this FOIA disclosure.

* I would like to know if there is any authors listed within the redacted content of the email. This FOIA request gives the impression it was written by Katie Waldman, but she could be relaying information from someone else
* In addition, I would like to know if the redacted document email includes the title of the blog post as part of the content or if that was added after this email change. If it does not, I would like to request any discussion of that title.

Thank you for the . I hope to hear back from this sooner than in a few years.

Jacob
