Aug. 16 NSA Conference Call Presentation

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the following materials related to an Aug. 16 conference call held by the National Security Agency with participating reporters:

— Invitations, whether written or electronic, sent to reporters in advance of the call.
— The lists of invited individuals and organizations, including any lists that include include individuals or organizations that declined to participate.
— Any communications between the NSA and individuals or organizations invited to the call, or individuals and organizations requesting an invitation or more information.
— A copy of any presentations, talking points notes, PowerPoints, and other written, electronic, or other media prepared for this conference call.
— A copy of any materials generated, collected, or collated in advance of this call in preparation for questions or statements regarding the subject matter of the call.
— A copy of any pre-conference call notes, briefings, or preparatory materials.
— A copy of any post-conference call follow up notes, lessons learned, or other post-call recaps generated.
— A copy of any emails sent to or from reporters participating in the call between themselves and call organizers from the time that the call was finished to the date that this request is processed.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
