To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

In response to my 1 February 2023 FOIA request to the FBI for "Audio recordings made from FBI wiretaps of the telephone(s) of Elijah Muhammed, leader of the Nation of Islam, who was the target of Bureau electronic surveillance in the 1960s," I received the following notice.

Records potentially responsive to your request were transferred to the National Archives and
Records Administration (NARA). If you wish to review these records, file a FOIPA request with
NARA ... use file number 100-CG-6989, 100-CG-9129 and 157-CG-5366 as a reference.

I do wish to review these records.

Elijah Muhammed died on Feb. 25, 1975 (See; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elijah_Muhammad)

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jefferson Morley
