This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Copies of all recommendations produced since 1949 by the Armed Forces Epidemiological Board (AFEB) that are in the possession of the Defence Health Board, Defense Health Agency. According to a recent publication by Defence Health Board staff members (Anderson G, Althoff J. Defense Health Board Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary. Mil Med. 2017 Nov;182(11):1745), "The Defence Health Board's long and rich history of advising military health can be traced back to... the Armed Forces Epidemiological Board (1949)".

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The Textual Reference Archives II Branch (RDT2) has custody of the Records
of Interservice Agencies (Record Group 334). Within Record Group 334, Entry
UD-09D 1 – Administrative Records, Entry UD-09D 2 – Meeting Minutes, Entry
UD-09D 4, General Files, and Entry UD-09D 5 - Historical Files, contain
records relating to Armed Forces Epidemiological Board recommendations.

The materials you are requesting are already open for public viewing in our
research room at the National Archives in College Park, MD, located at 8601
Adelphi Road, College Park, MD. Since there are no access restrictions on
these documents, there is no need to file a Freedom of Information Act
request with the National Archives. If you have further questions regarding
