Dear Mr. Morisy,

This is in response to your request for a status update pertaining to your December 27, 2011, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request sent to Council of the Inspector General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE). You requested a copy of the "CIGIE-Liaisons mailing list archive from the date of the list's inception to the date of the receipt of this request."

We received your request on December 27, 2011, and assigned it case number 6330-2012-12. Please refer to this case number when corresponding with us about this request.

Your request for a digital archive of messages on the CIGIE-LIAISONS email listserv is complex and will involve reviewing approximately 4,000 pages. (This is the estimated page count we have to date. We will provide another page count update once we determine the actual number of pages.)

CIGIE will make a determination regarding your fee waiver request this week.

Your request is voluminous and complex. Currently, we estimate we will complete processing of your request by August 29, 2012 due to the large volume of records involved. Should you wish to limit the scope of your request, please respond in writing.

If you have any questions, please email me at alison.decker@oig.usda.gov.

Sincerely yours,

Alison Decker
