Hi, Jennifer,
I'm an investigative journalism fellow at the Lab@Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics. In this capacity, I publish articles in a variety of news outlets, such as magazines, newspapers, TV, radio and websites.
Based on our conversation, it sounds like you have me listed as a reporter at the San Diego Union-Tribune. I left that position in 2009 for another news outlet.
Also, per our conversation, I'm happy to consolidate my three requests, as this will be more efficient for you.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. I look forward to receiving the records.
Thank you,
Brooke

Hi Brooke,
I met with the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion last week and we discussed your request(s). They provided some information that would assist with your request however, we would like to know if you would be available to discuss possibly narrowing the scope. The information requested is very voluminous and we want to make sure we provide you the correct information.
The National Strategic Partner list is on the ChooseMyPlate.gov Web site here. We have 112 National Strategic Partners that have met the acceptance criteria for the Partnership (pasted below). Note that the list on our site includes only those active partners who have provided their logo to our webmaster, as requested.
Acceptance Criteria for National Strategic Partners
• They must have a health mandate consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the mission of the USDA's Center for Nutrition Policy & Promotion (CNPP).
• They will promote nutrition content in the context of the entirety of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
• They will specifically disseminate CNPP's Dietary Guidelines messages.
• They will participate in CNPP sessions to develop and execute a joint strategic nutrition promotion plan annually.
Please let me know if this information satisfies your request or if you would be willing to speak with us about narrowing the topic. We will wait for your response.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
