To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
An itemized inventory of all amenities budgeted, purchased, and/or provided to the Casa Padre shelter in Brownsville, Texas. For the purposes of this request, amenities would include entertainment and recreational goods like sports equipment, toys, video games, and DVDs. According to an ABC report, such items existed at Casa Padre during a media visit (https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/shelters-undocumented-children-nearing-capacity-trump-immigration-policy/story?id=55882840).
I request that the information be provided electronically via Excel file, or a similar spreadsheet format.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Alejandro Ramirez,
Today, I received your FOIA request dated August 22, 2018. It was mistakenly faxed to Office on Trafficking in Persons, not the Freedom of Information Act office. I just wanted to inform you that we have received your request and will work diligently to fulfil it.
Just so you are aware, submitting a request online the FOIA office's preferred method of receipt. For more information, please see the following link: https://www.acf.hhs.gov/foia
Under "Submit a FOIA Request Online" it details steps to submit requests through the Public Access Link (PAL). The PAL allows you to submit FOIA requests at any time. Create a PAL account to submit a request, check the status of a request, and download ACF's response.
Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, or if I may be of any help to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.
With kindest regards,
Sarah Wahl
