From: Kiera Murray

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

As background for my request, between January 2012 and February 2020, U.S. Air Forces Central released monthly reports detailing information on air strikes in support of the OPERATION FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and RESOLUTE SUPPORT missions. This data included information on the total number of weapons released by aircraft under the oversight of the Combined Forces Air Component Commander, and the information is still available here:
https://www.afcent.af.mil/About/Airpower-Summaries/
https://www.afcent.af.mil/Portals/82/Documents/Airpower%20summary/Jan%202020%20Airpower%20Summary.pdf?ver=2020-02-13-032911-670

I’m requesting a copy of this report for March 2020. If this report is stored with reports from successive months and these successive reports are releasable with minimal additional effort, please also release a copy of any reports produced after March 2020 through the present. If doing so would delay the release of this report, please only release March 2020.

If this report is no longer generated, I request copies of any other reports or databases that were used to generate this public report previously. I’m most concerned with obtaining access to the total number of weapons released by aerial U.S. forces on a month-to-month basis, so if this data is detailed in another report that is easier to process for release, that information will fulfill my request.

I’m happy to discuss the scope of my request if you have suggestions for reducing the burden on agency resources or time to process.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Kiera Murray
