Dear Mr. Schmidt,

Thank you for your response and records in response to my Public Records Act request for purchase and deployment records for certain types of equipment used by the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office. I appreciate it.

The records you produced were in response to #1 and #2 of my request, which focused on purchase records. #3 of my request asked for:

3. Records of deployment by your agency since January 1, 2020 of projectile launch platforms, such as 40mm projectile launchers, "bean bag" or specialty impact munition ("SIM") weapons, and "riot guns" used to disperse chemical agents; explosives and pyrotechnics, such as "flashbang" grenades and explosive breaching tools; and chemical weapons such as "teargas" and "pepper balls".

Have you conducted or are you still conducting a search for these records? If so, please let me know the status of the search, whether any responsive records were located, and if so, on what date you anticipate sending a response.

Thanks again.

best,
John Lindsay-Poland

From: Tuolumne County Sheriff

Good morning- after confirming with my client, my last response included all responsive records, so if no records were produced for any category, there were no responsive records found after a diligent search.
