Hi,

Thanks so much for your help with this request! I really appreciate it. However, you haven't complied with the other half of the request that asks for list and purchase orders of all the technology you used to make these cases. For example, you list a digital recording device. Please provide the model number and purchase order used. You also mention uploading that audio to a 'Digital Crime Scene Database. Please provide the vender and purchase order for that technology as well as all other as requested in the original request.

All available lists of technologies and platforms used in the investigation and securing of 647(b) and 653.22 citations and arrests. Please include the name of the product or system used, the manufacturer, and any relevant model numbers. Technologies to which this request applies include, but are not limited to, the following tools and capabilities:
○ facial recognition technologies
○ automated license plate readers
○ location data software and platforms
○ cell-site simulators
○ predictive policing programs and hot spot mapping systems
○ any systems utilizing artificial intelligences, algorithms, databases, data
analytic centers
○ cameras, body-worn or otherwise
○ computers, tablets, and mobile phones
○ all software, online platforms, and applications used in the course of the
investigation, including (but not limited to) Callyo, Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter, SMS services, and dating applications
○ audio and video recording equipment,
This equipment may be a standalone item, a portion of another system, hardware, software, a mobile application, subscription service, or may take another form.
If no such list describing the requested information exists, please then provide the following information regarding the tools for each technology used by this department in the investigation and prosecution of the referenced criminal statutes, including, but not limited to, those technologies listed above.
● All agreements (in addition to any associated exhibits and amendments) related to this agency’s use of the applicable technologies, including but not limited to all contracts (related to purchase, use, sharing of equipment, sharing of data, and any other action related to the use of this technology), memorandums of understanding, intergovernmental services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, records related to any complimentary use of the equipment, or any other agreements.
● Any policies regarding this agency’s use of this agency’s use of the applicable technologies. Responsive materials include all policies and procedures related to:
○ the acquisition of the technology, including guidance regarding procurement through the bidding process, third parties, or any other method
○ the use of the technology, including data collection, retention, and disposal
○ training on and coordination of the technology
○ any application, affidavit, or similar records created in the course of
use of this technology
○ the sharing of the equipment itself
○ the sharing of any information gathered by the technology, either
with other police departments, the district attorney, or any other
entity, inside or outside of the local criminal justice system
● Materials regarding this agency’s acquisition of the applicable technologies. Responsive materials include all bidding and procurement materials, including the initial Request for Bids, Request for Proposals, or equivalent
bidding records
● Invoices and receipts related to payments for the equipment
