Pursuant to the The Kansas Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
A list of complaints filed against High School Coaches/AD’s. including; Athletic Directors, Head, Assistant, And Volunteer coaches. including date filed, person(s) complaint filed against, compliant description, investigative processes used to determine outcome, ramifications, persons listed within complaint, and policies and procedures used to justify the decision.
2. Coaching rule manual, guidelines to follow, requirements, fairness, expectations, ethics, contracts, and any other policies required for High School to uphold. Including; booster clubs, dual sporting, team selection, tryouts, and evaluations.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Per your Kansas Open Records Act request, please find the following response from the Kansas State High School Activities Association:
The request detailed: “A list of complaints filed against High School Coaches/AD’s. including; Athletic Directors, Head, Assistant, And Volunteer coaches. including date filed, person(s) complaint filed against, compliant description, investigative processes used to determine outcome, ramifications, persons listed within complaint, and policies and procedures used to justify the decision” does not exist. Per statute, we are not required to create a document that does not exist and the accumulation of such a broad request places an unreasonable burden in producing such a record.
The request detailed: “Coaching rule manual, guidelines to follow, requirements, fairness, expectations, ethics, contracts, and any other policies required for High School to uphold. Including; booster clubs, dual sporting, team selection, tryouts, and evaluations” is included in this reply via the attached compressed file entitled Manuals.zip and includes current school year versions of the following:
