1.) I am appealing the constructive denial of my FOIL request, originally submitted on 05/24/2022.

2.) On 05/24/2022 a FOIL request was submitted via email to jhaug@tonawanda.ny.us for "Any and all police reports, complaints, and narratives for the following address: 44 Claremont Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223". Please limit the search for records between the following timeframe - 01/01/2010 - 06/13/2022.

3.) As of today 6/15/2022, the Town of Tonawanda has failed to acknowledge my request. When an agency receives a request, §89(3)(a) of the Freedom of Information Law requires that it has five business days to grant or deny access in whole or in part, or if more time is needed, to acknowledge the receipt of the request in writing and indicate an approximate date by which the agency will respond to the request.

4.) Due to the aforementioned, I hereby appeal the Town of Tonawanda Police Department's constructive denial of of my request.

Your office was contacted 2x times this week. Both Chaithip Mancino and Barbara failed to mentioned you were having tough time responding to the muckrock email. Had i known, I would have understood your frustrations. I am glad it is now working for you. I know technology is hard for some. Take care.
