Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act , I hereby request the following records:
All contracts (and their amendments) and memorandums of understanding entered into by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for services and activities related to the Cleveland Correctional Center (http://www.geogroup.com/Maps/LocationDetails/22). Responsive materials should include but not be limited to:
• the initial Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposal, or equivalent call for contractors
• the responsive materials provided by the winning bidder
• other bidder responses
• the current contract
• all exhibits
• all amendments
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Also, you had requested "other bidder responses". Due to this request, it has been submitted to the Attorney General's Office for legal opinion on releasing this information. Upon the decision of the AGs office, the requested information will be forthcoming.

The TDCJ has filed a request to release the information, however there is a ninety (90) day period that the Attorney General’s Office has to respond. Although a ruling from the attorney general was originally requested, that request was withdrawn when our office learned that all responsive information had been released.
