Mr. Kaufman,

Thank you for contacting me. As noted in our July 24, 2019, correspondence, the Office of the Governor (“OOG”) released some information to you and requested a ruling from the Office of the Attorney General (“OAG”) with regard to the remaining information at issue in this request. The OAG has 45 days by which to rule and we are awaiting their ruling.

If you would like to contact the OAG to check on the status of that file, you may call the Open Records Hotline at 877-OPEN TEX. Leave a message providing the OOG PIR ID# (279-19), your name, and the date on which the OOG requested a ruling (July 24, 2019) and they will call you back (I usually provide them with a cell phone number so that I will be sure to get their return call if I’m away from my desk; if you miss the return call, you’ll have to get back in the queue all over again). The attorneys on the hotline are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and can answer any questions you may have about the process.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
