To Whom It May Concern:

Under the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records within 10 days per statute: Any records regarding former officeholder and candidate:
John C. Paschall Robertson County Texas District Attorney, for all years.

I allow for the editing of information which is not able to be released under law. No documents should be withheld, but only if necessary, information not able to be released under law may be edited.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

If there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The requested records should include but not be limited to the following:
1. Personal Financial Statements
2. Any corrected reports or statements
3. Any letters or correspondence to or from the Texas Ethics Commission
4. Any final reports or reports of unexpended funds

Thank you for your reply Ms. Barden,

In your reply you state that Mr. John C. Paschall was the County Attorney and therefore his statements would be filed on a local level and not with the Texas Ethics Commission.

I was under the impression that Mr. John C. Paschall was actually the District Attorney of Robertson County Texas previously. There are multiple court cases where John C. Paschall has represented Robertson County, Texas as District Attorney.

There was even a movie produced in 2008: "American Violet" which is based on factual events of corruption in Hearne, Texas, which is in Robertson County, Texas. One of the main characters of this movie is based on former District Attorney John C. Paschall.
