Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, and reporting documents for the distribution of the 2023 Urban Area Security Initiative grants.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

I'm following up on the following Texas Public Information Act request, copied below, and originally submitted on Oct. 22, 2023. You had previously indicated that it would be completed on Nov. 16, 2023. I wanted to check on the status of my request, and to see if there was a new estimated completion date. You had assigned it reference number #470-23.

Thank you for your email. We note the OOG sent a cost estimate pursuant to section 552.2615 of the Government Code on November 2, 2023 in response to your request. A copy of that correspondence is attached to this email. The OOG has no record of receiving a valid response under section 552.2615 of the Government Code, as described in the cost estimate letter sent on November 2, 2023. Accordingly, because the OOG did not receive a valid response pursuant to by the tenth business day following it’s November 2, 2023, cost estimate, the request designated as OOG ID# 470-23 has been deemed withdrawn as a matter of law pursuant to section 552.263(f) of the Government Code.
