Dear Mr. Lipton:

The Office of the Attorney General (“OAG”) will review its files. However, I do not understand why this request is being sent to the OAG instead of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the state agency responsible for managing offenders in state prisons, state jails and certain private correctional facilities. If you have additional information that would help us understand your request, we would appreciate that information. Thank you.

Sincerely,

June B. Harden
